Quote of the Week

Here we are with another instalment of these ‘Quote of the Week’ posts. And for any of you asking, yes, I did find this one on tumblr too (where else are you supposed to find instantaneous inspiration). Anyway, the quote this week is not overly deep, or symbolic really. It’s meaning is quite simple, and in saying that I believe that its message is one we should always remind ourselves of.

everyone you idolize wakes up scared to be themselves sometimes.”

                                                                             – Pete Wentz

This quote reminds me that even those who you look up to have bad days. It reminds me to not get so down on myself about having a bad day, feeling off, or even failing at something once and a while. Failure is inevitable, but to get up and keep trying is true dedication and perseverance, which can yield success. This quote just reminds me that being human can take a huge toll on ones psyche, and we have to be able to deal with that. Failure, heartbreak, sadness, and a ton of other adjectives and feelings can make us feel like we are done with the day, the week, heck even the month. But you always have to get up, brush your teeth and get moving. Remind yourself that today is a brand new day, and that the sun will come out tomorrow. You can bet your bottom dollar on it. Strive for success, and learn from mistakes. Just remember – life is amazing, and you only get one shot – so make it worth it, and become the person that you want to be.

I hope this helped you guys out this week, keep on designing your own catastrophes…
