Quote of the Week: Snow

Advice is like snow – the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind. – Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Hannah and I live in Canada, and living in Canada we obviously get a lot of snow during the cold winter months. Yesterday and today was the first real snowfall we have had this year and I don’t know whether or not to be happy because that means bus days and snow days or crying because its already so cold out!

I really enjoy this quote that i just happened to find by searching “snow quotes.” it perfectly describes snow but also gives a deeper message about life. Seeking advice from someone can be helpful but also difficult at the same time. Sometimes you are happy with the advice someone gives you and other times you wish you never asked that person in the first place. Lately advice from friends and family, especially friends has been quite helpful in certain situations and I hope that you have someone to rely on to give you the advice that you should and want to hear.

I hope you have a merry, oh wait, i mean a happy thanksgiving to all you americans out there! Enjoy the warmth while it still lasts!
