Cover Review: The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

Prior to gallivanting across Italy I decided that it would be a good idea to pick up some books that I would be more than happy to lose myself in when I returned. One of those books that I purchased was The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith This book intrigued me because of the description that the lovely Chapters lady gave me. A mystery that envelops you in its coat-tails and takes you for a whirlwind of surprise, adventure and pure amazement is what made me want to buy this novel. Anyway, here is the book cover so that you can see it for yourself:

The cover just screams mystery and suspense, with all the lights flashing in the background it gives you the feel of importance and being remembered by those who wish to be. This books looks enticing just from the cover, and the cameras make it seem like one is ready to live their life in the spotlight, their face gracing the over-glossed pages of gossip magazines and being able to inspire hundreds of brain-washed teens by just speaking a few words shoved into your mouth by a manager or producer. It makes you think that this book will make you feel famous just for reading it, like you read something so magnificent that people will be lining up down the street just to hear your opinion on the writings of Mr. Robert Galbraith.

In short, I cannot wait to start this read, and I am excited to see how this story will unfold through the words of the author and be translated into my own mind. I hope this is one of those books that I literally cannot put down and that I will finish and declare to the world its magnificence.

Anyway, If any of you have read this book please tell me your thoughts down below, and let me know what you thought of it!

Keep on designing your own catastrophe…
